Understanding Foundry Roles
Roles are official reputation markers for what a member does or represents inside The Foundry. They can appear on the Passport, but they are separate from Keys and never advance Passport stage.

Keys progress the Passport. Roles describe standing and contribution. A member can hold Roles without changing the number of Keys required for FORGED, TEMPERED or MASTERWORK.
Core Passport Roles
Founder
+25 XPAn official Foundry Role recognizing founding stewardship. Roles are displayed on the Passport but do not change Passport stage.
Partner
+25 XPRecognizes an official partnership role inside The Foundry. Roles are reputation markers and do not count toward the five-Key stage progression.
Warden
+25 XPRecognizes trusted stewardship, moderation or protective responsibility inside The Foundry. Roles do not advance Passport stage.
Foundry Builder
+25 XPRecognizes a sustained builder role inside The Foundry. It is separate from the Builder Key and does not advance Passport stage.
Role XP
Each core Role is earned through the automatic four-question + two-proof verifier and carries a one-time +25 XP milestone bonus. If a Role is later revoked for fraud or abuse, earning it again does not create another XP award; the milestone is credited once per member.
